Leeds Mostly Remote 6-Month Interim Contract

16.00 - 18.00 per hour

Hamilton Woods are working with a well-established organisation to recruit an Interim Assistant Finance Analyst on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional looking to develop their career within financial analysis. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will support the production of insightful financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis that enables key business decisions.

The role offers predominantly remote working, with only occasional travel to the Leeds office required.

Key Responsibilities

Produce monthly financial reports and variance analysis.Support the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.Prepare financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.Support cost management initiatives and investment appraisals.Assist with the preparation of management information and financial reports.Present financial information in a clear and meaningful way to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Build strong working relationships across the wider business and contribute to process improvements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience within an analytical finance position and be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data.

You'll ideally have:

Experience as an Assistant Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, Assistant Management Accountant or similar.Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.Experience of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting or variance analysis.Excellent communication and organisational skills.AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent).If you're looking for your next interim opportunity within financial analysis, we'd love to hear from you.
