Must have’s

Good understanding of insurance principles and/or experience within London Market insurance

Previous experience in credit control, accounts payable or accounts receivable

Strong accuracy and attention to detail when managing data and reports

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence using relevant systems

Ability to follow documented processes and procedures

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Nice to have’s

Previous experience within the insurance sector or another professional environment

Experience within Insurance Broking Accounting (IBA)

Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint

Interest in finance, credit control or insurance administration

Exposure to London Market finance schemes or legacy credit work

So, what will you be doing?

Preparing and reviewing standard document templates for internal and external use

Entering, updating and submitting data accurately within systems

Creating and maintaining paper and electronic records

Reviewing departmental reports and taking appropriate action

Reconciling accounts, unallocated cash and partner statements

Preparing and processing statements, allocations and payments

Ensuring compliance with settlement deadlines and internal procedures

Supporting the IBA team in delivering accurate and timely financial transactions
