Full Time Onsite Role Manufacturing Client

Our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation based in the Salford area, is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Assistant to join their busy HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional with strong HR administration and payroll coordination experience to join a fast-paced industrial environment supporting the full employee lifecycle.

This is a fully onsite role, working closely with operational teams and management across the business.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, contracts, changes, absence management, and offboardingSupporting payroll administration and ensuring all payroll data is processed accurately and submitted within deadlinesManaging payroll-related changes including overtime, shift allowances, sickness, holidays, and employee amendments via ADPLiaising with payroll providers/internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queriesMaintaining employee records and ensuring HR system accuracySupporting recruitment coordination and onboarding activitiesActing as a first point of contact for HR and payroll-related queriesSupporting HR compliance, reporting, and audit requirementsAssisting with employee relations administration and HR documentationWe are seeking candidates who have:

Previous experience within manufacturing and or industrial environments Experience using ADP as a payroll systemStrong understanding of HR administration across the employee lifecyclePrevious exposure to payroll coordination or payroll support activitiesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident working in a fast-paced operational environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the businessAbility to handle confidential information professionallyCIPD level 5 or working towards What's on OfferSalary of GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 depending on experienceStable and growing manufacturing businessSupportive HR team environment
