Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a varied and hands-on Finance Manager position offering involvement across both financial and operational accounting.

You will play a key role in the production of monthly management accounts while supporting the wider finance function and working closely with operational teams across the business. The position offers excellent exposure to manufacturing finance, inventory management, production reporting and performance analysis.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management accounts and month-end reportingMonth-end journal entries and reconciliationsManaging accruals, prepayments and the fixed asset registerInventory and production control account reconciliationsInternal audits and investigation of stock variancesMaterial, inventory and production variance analysisBalance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with budgeting, forecasting and year-end accounts preparationSupporting the annual audit processPayroll analysis and payroll-related accounting entriesEnd-to-end weekly payroll processing during holiday cover periodsDaily cash postings and bank reconciliationsSales ledger and purchase ledger supportSupplier payment processingSupporting continuous improvement projects and systems developmentThis is a role where you'll have visibility across the entire business and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, along with a strong understanding of management accounting processes.
