Finance Assistant Nuneaton Hybrid Working Permanent Salary up to 30,000 + Study Support Immediate Start Available Flexible Hours (Minimum 30hrs per week, up to 37.5 hrs)

Seymour John are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing and well-established organisation in Nuneaton. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with experience across transactional finance who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative finance team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of the purchase ledger function across multiple sites, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently Preparing payments and managing supplier accounts, resolving any queries in a timely manner Completing bank reconciliations and supporting the Finance Manager with month-end activities Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring finance systems are kept up to date Assisting with employee expenses, basic reporting, and other day-to-day finance tasks Working closely with colleagues across other departments to support smooth business operations Supporting continuous improvements to financial processes and controls Personal Profile

We are looking for candidates to have:

Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role Strong purchase ledger experience, including invoice processing and supplier account management A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership of responsibilities Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
