Finance Assistant – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager, and you will be mainly covering the Accounts Receivable/Credit Control function. You will also support in other areas of finance, and your key responsibilities will be:

Take ownership of the collection of outstanding customer debts across the UK entities.

Monitor aged debt and escalate issues in accordance with agreed procedures.

Build strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payment and dispute resolution.

Support cash collection forecasting.

Maintain accurate customer account records within the ERP system.

Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Support bank reconciliation processes as required.

Maintain petty cash records and reconciliations.

Generate credit notes as required and ensure all necessary approvals.

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

Active desire to pursue a career in finance

Ability to communicate at all levels

Strong attention to detail

Must be a car driver
