What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Fraud Advisor, you will:

Be the first point of contact for customers reporting fraud or suspicious activityInvestigate unusual transactions and take action to prevent financial lossSupport and guide customers through potentially stressful situations with empathy and professionalismMake confident decisions on payments based on fraud risk assessmentsEducate customers on how to stay safe and avoid scamsHandle sensitive conversations, including supporting vulnerable customersEnsure all actions meet strict regulatory and compliance standardsTake full ownership of queries, aiming for first-call resolution every time

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact:

At least 18 months' experience in a UK banking or financial services environmentStrong communication skills with a natural ability to build rapportConfident understanding of banking processes and terminologyA sharp eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilityComfortable handling sensitive or challenging conversationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentA proactive mindset with strong decision-making skills

Salary & Benefits

Working Hours

40 hours per week (full-time, permanent)

Training:

2 weeks on-site in GlasgowMonday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00

After Training:

On-site shifts: 10:00 - 19:00After 3 months: opportunity to move to hybrid or home workingShift patterns between 10:00 - 23:00, Monday - Sunday

Please note: No holidays can be taken within the first 6-8 weeks during training and onboarding.
