We're working with a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager to join its Nottingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate tax professional who enjoys managing a varied portfolio, leading teams, and getting involved in advisory and business development work.

The roleYou'll take responsibility for delivering high-quality corporate tax services across a diverse client base, including larger corporate groups and complex entities. Alongside overseeing compliance, you'll play a key role in advisory projects, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Key responsibilitiesManage a substantial portfolio of corporate tax clientsReview complex corporation tax returns and group computationsLead and delegate work effectively across the teamOversee workflow, WIP and billing processesProvide technical guidance on complex tax mattersSupport Partners and Directors on advisory projectsAttend client planning and completion meetingsIdentify opportunities for additional services and new workContribute to proposals, fee quotes and tender processesKeep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate these to clientsAbout youCTA / ACA / ACCA / ATT qualified (or qualified by experience)Strong Corporate Tax experience within an accountancy practiceConfident reviewing complex returns and managing group structuresExperience leading and developing junior team membersCommercially aware with the ability to manage pricing discussionsProactive, solutions-focused and comfortable making decisionsThe packageFull-time, permanent positionCompetitive salaryClear progression opportunitiesExposure to complex advisory workLeadership responsibility within a supportive structure
