Description
A well-established, small to mid-sized accountancy firm is looking to welcome an Accounts Technician to join their close-knit and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied, hands-on role in a supportive environment where your work truly adds value to the clients you serve.
This is an office-based role in a friendly, open-plan workspace with a strong team dynamic. You'll work closely with senior leadership and be part of a business that offers genuine variety, a great working atmosphere, and progression support including study leave and funding.
The role includes:
A mix of bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax
Year-end accounts preparation
Exposure to full 360 accounting processes
Working across a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses
Software: IRIS, QuickBooks, Xero, SAGE, Excel
What you ll bring:
UK accountancy practice experience
A strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts
Good communication skills and a down-to-earth approach
A positive attitude and desire to be part of a team
Willingness to work office-based Monday to Friday (0830 to 1700 or 0900 to 1730, with 1-hour lunch)
