Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an incredibly well established and growing accountancy practice who are wanting to add an Accounts and Business Advisory Senior to their team in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio while developing both technical expertise and client management skills.

About The Role

As a Senior, you will begin to take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, supporting delivery across compliance and advisory work. You will work closely with managers and partners while also mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance Provide accounting support and advice, identifying opportunities for best practice improvements Begin managing your own client portfolio, building strong and lasting relationships Support delivery of revenue and profitability targets Work collaboratively within a team while also managing your own workload independently Mentor and support junior staff, acting as a key point of contact for queries Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders Accurately manage and record chargeable time and utilisation targets Assist in the fee process and ongoing client billing activities About You

ACA / ACCA / CA newly qualified (or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar accounts or advisory role Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance Confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships Organised, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team Keen to develop skills in client management and leadership What s on Offer
