In this position, you will be:

Taking ownership of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier accounts are accurate, up to date and well maintainedManaging and reconciling supplier ledgers, proactively investigating and resolving discrepanciesChasing outstanding invoices, credits and queries to maintain a clean and current ledgerBuilding strong relationships with suppliers, budget holders and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficientlySupporting and providing day-to-day guidance to a Purchase Ledger AssistantTaking a proactive approach to improving processes, controls and ways of working within the AP functionActing as the go-to person for Accounts Payable queries, providing clear explanations and ownership of issues through to resolution

Significant experience within an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or Transactional Finance environmentTeam Leader, Senior Accounts Payable or supervisory experience within a finance functionStrong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and reportingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvementExperience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
