Accounts Assistant

A newly created opportunity has arisen to join a growing international business as an Accounts Assistant, based in the Canterbury area.

My client is an expanding organisation and is looking for a career-driven individual who is keen to develop their accounting experience and grow alongside the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Financial Controller with operational reports. Raising client invoices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Assisting with month-end balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting with accruals, prepayments and other month-end schedules. Gathering and validating financial data for management reporting across UK and international entities. Supporting Finance Managers with chasing outstanding customer payments when required. Assisting with the preparation of documentation for year-end and external audit. Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required. Suitable candidates will have previous experience gained within a similar accounting or finance role. You will be career-driven, keen to progress and looking for an opportunity where you can continue your professional development alongside the growth of the business.
