Your role as an Accounts Assistant:

Working as part of a team you will be carrying out an all-round finance role. Duties will involve:

Assisting with general finance and office administrationManaging the sales ledger and purchase ledgerInputting payments receivedPreparing and carrying out payment runsSetting up new customers, and suppliers and requesting credit limitsAssisting with credit control, liaising with suspended accounts to arrange the release of ordersPerforming daily bank and petty cash reconciliationSupporting with audits

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Experience in either a similar Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or possibly Bookkeeper roleAAT qualification would be beneficialExperience in a manufacturing company would be interesting but not essentialIT literate and comfortable with an accounting packageAble to work independently and adapt to evolving processesOrganised and accurate with an excellent eye for detail
