Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Location: Leeds, UK (on-site)

Salary: £14-£18 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 25-30 hours per week

Overview:

An established organisation in Leeds is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accounts Assistant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support senior management. This role offers flexible working hours within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (Sage)

Process invoices, receipts, and payments

Reconcile bank statements

Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings

Support payroll processing and pension contributions

Assist with monthly and year-end financial reportingRequirements:

Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role

Proficiency in Sage (experience with SAP is a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Familiarity with UK accounting standards and VAT regulations

AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyDesirable Skills:
