Credit Controller

Description

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a successful business based just outside Harlow. The role is an important part of the finance team, helping to manage customer accounts, chase payments, and keep cash flow on track.

Main duties include:

Chasing late payments and keeping accurate customer records

Producing weekly and monthly debt reports and month-end provisions

Allocating customer payments and helping with reconciliations

Working with sales, shipping, and other teams to resolve account queries and manage credit limits

Reviewing processes to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficientlyWhat we are looking for:

At least 2 years’ experience in credit control or a similar finance role

Good communication skills and confidence when speaking with customers

Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

Advanced Excel skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly (Sage experience is helpful but not essential)This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and customer-focused who enjoys being part of a busy finance team
