Accounts Assistant | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Basingstoke

I'm currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business in Basingstoke on a 6-month fixed-term contract.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional or someone studying towards their AAT qualification who is looking to gain further exposure within a busy finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing supplier invoices and payment runs

Bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable administration

Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding payments

Processing employee expenses

Supporting month-end activities and account reconciliations

Assisting with financial reporting and audit requests

Credit control and debt collection support

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance

We're looking for: Previous Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar experience Strong Excel and accounting software skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment AAT qualified or studying towards AAT would be advantageous. Location: Basingstoke Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
