Description

- 17 years experience as an English Language and Literature GCSE/iGCSE teacher (Cambridge, AQA, EdExcel)
- 15 years experience as a tutor, the last 2 years exclusively online
- recent student achieved 9-9 at GCSE with a 2 hour session once a week (James Alleyn Girl’s School)
- Experienced 11+ and 13+ entrance exam tutor (recent student accepted into Harrow School)
- Deputy Headteacher with flawless references and previous Head of English Department across three large Secondary schools
- Approachable and friendly - building lasting relationships with students to help build their confidence.
- Experience in tutoring younger students - supporting with homework, language analysis and building reading and comprehension skills (preparation for GCSE or Secondary School)
- Language and Literature AQA, EdExcel iGCSE/GCSE, Cambridge iGCSE
- A level English Literature
- History KS3 (The Civil War, The Transatlantic Slave Trade, The French Revolution, The Tudors and The Reformation)
- Phonics trained
- Previous SENCo
- £55-70 per hour (depending on length of sessions/commitment)
