Economics Tutor - GCSE & A-levels

I am a seasoned economist and a teacher at heart, who enjoys helping students achieve their best.

For me it’s not just about time, but rather an intentional commitment, partnering with students to cement key concepts and theories as a strong foundation they can build on. I combine an analytic discipline with creativity, to simplify understanding and remembering.

After university, I was an economist in the private sector for 15 years. I led research teams in global asset management, with a focus on macro research. Over the course of my career I have navigated complex, high-stakes environments — and I bring that experience to my tutoring practice.

In my private sector experience, I taught clients and colleagues about the global economy on a daily basis - making sure they understand all the dynamics in order to make important decisions. I have organised and taught various workshops on key economic concepts throughout my career. Other teaching/tutoring experiences include teaching and mentoring pre-grad students at university while I was a post-grad fellow. As well as mentoring teams and colleagues in the private sector.

I am open to tutor appointments in the area as well as online.
