Currently, I am providing maths tutoring for S1 - S3, National 4, National 5, Higher, both in person and on-line with +9 years tutoring experience.

Availability: Monday - Friday: 3:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
About me:

A friendly and passionate tutor with +9 years maths tutoring experience, dedicated to going the extra mile to help learners build exam confidence and improve grades.

I am from the Bishopbriggs area and a former Bishopbriggs Academy student. I have been tutoring mathematics for +9 years, supporting primary and secondary students of all ages, both in-person and online in many parts of Glasgow such as Bishopbriggs, Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, Bearsden, Milngavie and the Robroyston area.

Additionally, I have also worked in several primary and secondary schools in the Bishopbriggs, Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch area.

I studied BSc Mathematics at Heriot-watt University and then graduated with BA Education with a specialism in Numeracy at University of Stirling, which has led me into tutoring mathematics.


What will you get out of the lessons?

1. A step-by-step teaching approach so lessons are clear and easy to understand with consistent updates on learner progress.

2. Lessons will cover all maths topics but will prioritise specific areas the pupils have difficulty with or wish to focus on to ensure a strong mathematics foundation.

3. Provide homework & assignment support, guidance with classwork, exam preparation and past-paper practice.

4. Past-paper revision techniques and plenty of exam practice so pupils can feel confident going into the exam.

5. Recommendations of any books and teaching resources for exam practice will be provided.

Outline of the lessons?

1) The first few lessons will focus on identifying topics where pupils have difficulty with to establish a strong starting point moving forward.
2) Lessons will focus on filling gaps in learner knowledge and cover all aspects of the curriculum to strengthen learner understanding and pupil maths confidence.
3) Towards the end of the term, prior to exams and prelims, I will focus on exam practice and past papers by prioritising developing exam techniques and exam preparation.
