Online N5/H/AH maths/chem/bio tutor

Hi there,

I have been tutoring in person and online since 2017 with all my students in this time gaining at least a C grade, most sitting at an A or a B.

I provide online tutoring in a one on one session for 1-2 hours at a time, any longer can be too long for a student and I am happy to provide more than one session a week. This is done through a zoom link I sent out weekly before the lesson.

I am fully registered through Disclosure Scotland for working with children and young people and can provide proof of my PVG if required. I am also police vetted to a high level.

The lessons will be loosely structured based on current published SQA Curriculum and learning points but I don’t like to provide too rigid a lesson plan so that pupils can bring homework to lessons or anything they’ve learned that week that they don’t understand and I can help them with.

I have a lot of experience working not on with children through tutoring but in the subjects themselves with a First Class Honours BSc in Forensic Science and a Masters MSc in Forensic Toxicology. I have also partially completed a PhD in Forensic Drugs Analysis.

I’m a highly motivated, friendly tutor who likes to build a good rapport with my pupils so the lessons can be relaxed but productive and the pupils leave feeling like they’ve learned something or achieved their goals in the lesson.

I have several students who return year on year and have tutored families of children too as my tutoring is proven to get good results as shown by the screenshots of text messages I have included from results days. My prices reflect the guarantee you are going to get with my level of tutoring to really provide results.
