What qualifications should a massage therapist in Hackney have?

Ensure your massage therapist is properly qualified and insured. Look for certifications from recognised professional bodies. It's also wise to check their registration status and ask about their experience and training in the specific massage techniques they offer.

What should I expect during a massage appointment?

Before your massage, the therapist should discuss your medical history and any areas of concern. They should explain the type of massage they will be performing and answer any questions you have. During the massage, communicate your comfort level and any pain you experience.

How do I ensure the massage environment is safe and hygienic?

The massage environment should be clean and well-maintained. The therapist should wash their hands before and after the massage. Fresh linens should be used for each client. If you have any concerns about hygiene, don't hesitate to ask the therapist about their practices.

What are some red flags to watch out for when choosing a massage service?
