60A new car should be driven at least once a month. Since all components, including the battery, tires, and engine oil, are new, they are much more durable than those in a car that has been used for several years. For an older car, it should be driven at least once every two weeks or once a week.
When a car remains idle for an extended period, most of the lubricating oil on its moving parts will flow back into the oil pan due to gravity, reducing lubrication in various components. Without the protection of an oil film, metal parts can easily react with oxygen, forming an oxide layer that increases friction and makes the car harder to start.
Additionally, if the battery is not recharged for a long time, it accelerates the sulfation process of the battery plates, increases internal resistance, and shortens the battery's lifespan. Due to self-discharge, if the battery's voltage drops below 85%, it may become irreparable. Tires that remain stationary for too long can develop noticeable flat spots where they contact the ground, leading to poor balance and significant impact on the car's performance.
