Yamaha DT125 (2 stroke) / 2004 / covered 21,400 miles / just had a complete overhaul and service / sold with a new mot / HPi clear.

This popular Yamaha DT 125 came in to us as a non starter. We diagnosed the fault which was a broken starter motor. Once replaced, the carb was stripped and cleaned, brakes pulled apart and cleaned, 2 stroke pump recommissioned, tank flushed and cleaned, new brake pads fitted to the front, full service (plug, oil, filter) and she’s good to go. With some fancy plastics and graphics and a good tidy up, these tend to command prices of £3000-£3500. We’ve done the hard bit - strip down service and mot. Over to you from here. The general consensus in the market being, if you see a 2 stroke 125 for under 2k - buy it!
