HONDA, YAMAHA, SUZUKI, KAWASAKI WERE ALL AIMING FOR THAT TOP SPOT ON THE PODIUM, IT GOT EVEN MORE COMPETATIVE WHEN TRIUMPH JOINED WITH THE DAYTONA 675. SAYING ALL THAT, IT WAS THE YAMAHA THAT PEOPLE SEEMED TO WANT AND OWN ON THE ROAD, WAS IT MORE FOCUSED THAN THE RIVALS, MAYBE, IT JUST WAS SUCH A POPULAR BIKE OF THAT ERA.
THE EXAMPLE WE HAVE HERE IS A GOOD CONDITION BIKE AND HAS FAIR MILEAGE FOR THE YEAR OF BIKE, THIS IS NOT A CONCOURSE BIKE, BUT IT IS TIDY AND WILL MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO THE GARAGE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAD ONE BACK IN THE DAY. THIS BIKE IS GOOD VALUE AND WITH A BIT OF MONEY AND TLC, WILL BRING THIS ONE BACK TO IT'S FORMER GLORY. BUT IT IS A GOOD BASE BIKE TO WORK WITH. FITTED WITH A TERMIGNONI EXHAUST, IT SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD TOO.
