1983 JDM Yamaha CZ125 Tracy 2 stroke scooter

Description

In the late 1970's Honda was the dominant force in Japanese motorcycle manufacturing. They decided to make a big push to increase their presence in the automobile market and Yamaha took this as an opportunity to try to wrestle market share from them. This period became known as the HY Era, or HY war.

Yamaha went hell for leather to create innovite machines and in amongst them was the CZ125. A single cylinder, liquid cooled two-stroke scooter with cast wheels that not only produced 16HP but pulled more and more as the revs climbed. It was able to compete with larger displacement machines.

We are delighted to be able to present this very well maintained, original and tidy CZ125 Tracy in red and black. The overall condition is very good for its age and it still pulls like an absolute trouper. Please see the videos on Youtube. It comes with the original back box and a tool kit.

Historic. MOT & Tax exempt.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. The bike has been fully UK registered, this includes the Dating Certificate, Registration, UK log book and age related number plate. The bike is classed as Historic so it is MOT & Tax exempt.

We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote. 

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready to hand over.  Once the deposit is received we will do a PDI check and clean the bike. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit. Insurance is your responsibility as the new keeper. Please note that if a customer pays through Paypal, we require the customer to pay the Paypal charges.  We accept bank transfer or debit card payments at no extra cost to you.
