The base has 4 x metal studs to protect the leather extending the life of the bag. A dust bag is included and the original receipt from Costco can be viewed for authenticity.The bag has had light use and is so well made it will last forever. The top quality zippers operate smoothly the metal work is all in perfect condition, the leather is in pristine condition as is the suede with just the customary pressure darkening in the corners.
