About DeathGlam Couture
DeathGlam is a one woman shop that mixes taxidermy with accessories to make something one of a kinda and unique.
I never use trapped animals. ALL (i never buy off ebay or anywhere where i dont know 100% where my skulls/bones/wings/etc come from) of my skulls are 100% scavenged. meaning, they are previously dead when my taxidermist gets them.
They can come from domesticated or wild animals. they are harvested from road kill, upflys, or sometimes when farmers and the such kill animals to protect their cows and chickens and such (those are usually the coyote and fox skulls).
They are then taken back to their lab, cleaned with beetles (if you boil them, it often causes the bone to be brittle and easily broken) and then sterilized.
Being that I live in a fairly wooded area, there is often a ton of road kill and the like. The cat skulls are mostly feral, and thus live in the wild.
I would never buy skulls from an unknown source, as I do not want to kill animals to make hats. i want to reuse their bits in a way that our ancestors have for thousands of years, only make them more modern and fashionable.
Huge Makeup Artist Kit, Photography, Modelling Wardrobe and Crime Scene, Criminalistics, Forensic Science etcetera books clearout, so please check out my other items.
