Description
Hi, my name is Laura, currently living In South London and I have over 20 years experience DJing. Throughout the years I have done lots of my own nights in various bars and clubs around London so I know how to throw a good party. I’ve played at weddings, corporate events, kids parties and even fashion shows.
I play a wide variety of music. The main styles that I love playing are disco, funk, soul, motown, pop, 80s, 90s, noughties & dance music. I also have an extensive collection of other genres, these include 90’s house, britpop, EDM, uk garage, reggae, 90’s rnb, dancehall, afrobeat, soca, calypso, brazilian. I am always up for playing different styles and broadening my music knowledge if you would like me to play any other genres.
I will work with you before your event to make sure the music is exactly what you want. You can send me your top ten songs, and I will work from them or a Spotify playlist. I am also set up to take on-the-spot requests on the night to keep all your friends and family dancing to their favourite songs.
I have all my own professional equipment including DJ controller, speakers, microphone, disco lights and DJ booth / table. All my equipment is pat tested and I have public liability insurance. I also have an enhanced DBS (CRB) for working in school and nurseries.
I have a few great Saxophonists that I work with and some good LED dancefloor companies too. I'm happy to organise and add these into my DJ package if required.
I am a great communicator, friendly and approachable. If you hire me, I will ensure that I meet all of your needs to ensure it is stress-free and that you will have a great party or event :)
