Mid Century Modern (MCM) Teak Tambour Wardrobe Austinsuite (by Clive Latimer, early 1960s)

Description
A mid century modern teak wardrobe, with a tambour door, four shelves, a garment hanging rail, and a small rail for ties etc, with small hooks. Excellent for keeping the clothes neatly organised.
With lovely wood grain, it will look splendid in any bedroom or hallway, particularly in tight areas (as tambour doors don't require space to open the door). The original small casters enable the wardrobe to be moved around the room if needed.
About 91cm wide, 173cm high, 60cm deep.
This is an iconic piece of furniture, by Austinsuite (designer Clive Latimer, early 1960s). Usually sold by retro furniture stores for upwards of £500. The tambour door wardrobes are rarity as they were expensive to make, and this is a quality item.
The condition is excellent for its age, despite it's 60 years old and counting! It was loved and cared for, and is clean. Some small blemishes which do not distract from its beauty. Photo 7: on the left side, there is a small whitish mark and a small red paint mark. Photo 8: two small dents on one of the shelves. As the shelves are movable, one can always reposition the shelf for the best visual effect. Photo 9: small scratches inside.
Will consider offers even the low ones, so do get in touch if interested.
Pickup only from Bruntsfield, EH10 4.
