Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the kitchen, delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position requires a strong background in food production, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Help create a positive atmosphere within the kitchen by promoting teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams.
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills and knowledge.
