Cafe Team Member Part and Full Time available - Permanent, All year round positions!

Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part and full time, all year round, permanent Cafe Team Members to join our vibrant team in a gorgeous setting! In this all-year-round role you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing a variety of food and beverages, assisting with the retail area and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and drink, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary and hospitality skills within a supportive team environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages in accordance with company standards
Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using the EPOS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including food preparation stations, retail area and seating areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Upsell menu and retail items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for staff and customers

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is preferred but NOT essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous but NOT essential; training is provided
Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude is desirable
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients are necessary
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
