Solid car I've spent over £2500 in the last 6/8 weeks, it has new shocks absorbers all round, new front coil springs, wishbones, drop links, wheel bearings near side off side wasn't required but new bearing was purchased and is with the car. 3 new engine mounts and transmission torque bar, engine lower back vacuum mount didn't require changing but was purchased and is with the car. Track rods and tie rods both sides and front brake hoses fitted 15th Sept. 4 brand new Sailun mid range tyres fitted 17th Sept. New fuel filter housing, cup and filter and Volvo unlocked fitted May this year.
Selling because when the tyres were being fitted then lifted do be tracked it was discovered that the steering rack was leaking so steering rack needs work. I've put so much time and money into the car recently I've just lost heart and am moving to south of England next month so selling for spares or repair. It would definitely be worth fixing the steering rack for someone else to do I've just spent to much recently and have to stop somewhere.
MOT is due 6th of October and and with all the work that's been done it will fly through once steering rack is done. Starts first turn of the key runs smoothly up and down the gearbox no smoke on start up, brilliant engine and will do the same mileage again easily if looked after. Returns 60+ mpg on motorway. Sad to be letting it go. Price is £1200 but open to reasonable and sensible offers.
