Volvo C30 1.6D e-drive, £35 Car Tax, New MOT, Full Service and 70MPG

This is my lovely clean Volvo C30 1.6D e-Drive model which comes with a fresh MOT, Full Service, New Cat/DPF on the exhaust and PAT Fluid replenishment. The cost of this work was £940 as evidenced on the invoice in the images. Additionally, all four original alloys have been fully professionally refurbished and therefore are all free of scuffs/kerbing and are looking great as original. The cost for this alloy refurb was £240. The car has today been fully valeted including a hand wax and polish to remove any surface swirling and surface scratches. There are only age related and expected minor dings and scratches for a car of this age/mileage. The paintwork has polished up really well and is in the Titanium Grey with a bold metallic fleck – I have a new touch up paint pen which comes with the car. The car drives really nicely and pulls well through the gears given its diesel torque. The refurbished wheels come with four matching Michelin Tyres with 6-8mm remaining. The two front tyres still have the hairs/spruce nubs to the side walls as they have had such little use.

As this car is the e-drive model, annual car tax is just £35 per year unlike the 2.0 diesel model, some petrol models and pre-2009 models which cost £200-£300 a year to tax which is a significant difference over several years, around £700 saving over 3 years on car tax alone. It's therefore a good idea to take into account car tax costs when comparing other C30 models.

As it’s the e-drive model the car can do up to 70MPG on long runs when driven properly so the car has very low running costs for tax, fuel, insurance (rear seats are for 2 persons) and has a clear MOT and full service so is good to go for a young person or anyone that wants to benefit from the safety and security the Volvo marque provides along with low running costs.

The interior is in great shape as you can see in the images. The fabric is a real hard wearing and quality material without wear or tear to the fabric. I paid for the additional wet valet on the seats, and they have come up very well indeed. The car comes with the original (extra when new) Volvo bespoke clip in rubber floor mats to the front and rear footwells which ensure the carpets are kept in great shape and the rubber mats can simply be removed/hosed/washed down when cleaning the car.

I also have a set of winter wheels and tyres which you can see on the images both on/off the car. These Volvo alloys all have matching Michelin Mud and Snow tyres and are for Oct-Mar with the New Alloys and all-weather tyres Apr-Sept. You don’t have to change each season as you could leave all weathers on but Winters offer better grip in the colder months and swapping is easy as it’s just a case of simply swapping the wheels for a much safer ride and utilising both sets would mean its likely you will never need new tyres on this car for a long time.

There is a full file of service history with the car, and it comes with the original 2x Volvo keys and the original Volvo book pack and instruction manual. The V5c is here in my name at this address.

There are no warning lights on the dashboard and these super reliable Volvo diesel engines can go for 200,000 miles. Please compare this car with others of the same marque/model and consider its mileage/condition/full new MOT/full service/£35 a year to tax and then please ask any questions and if you are interested in viewing then please make contact to come and see the car. Please do not make any offers without coming to see the car as I am in no rush to sell the car which is now parked up/covered over ready for the new buyer. I appreciate everyone wants a bargain and a bit knocking off, but the price won't be going much lower than asking price.The history of the car being it had two previous owners from the York and Malton areas. The latter owner from whom I acquired had the car parked up without an MOT for nearly two years. I have had the car recommissioned with all the works listed earlier above, including a full service and a run up to Newcastle and back. The car drives really well, solid and comfortable with great fuel efficiency and now the car is ready for its new owner.
