Description
Beetle. have owned this for three years, and two mots, and I'm board of it and can't be arsed with another MOT, which falls in October. don't think it'll need a lot doing but it's getting tatty and needs some tlc.
the good: it's a lovely drive, no problems engine gearbox or clutch. stops well, engine pulls like a train (unlike the gutless 1.6 astra I just brought) two new front tyres since last MOT. radio works!
The bad: got a flat the other day so spare is on. remote locking doesn't seem to be working at mo? passenger window temperamental. air cons never worked. egr lights been on since I bought it. probably some other stuff can't think of at mo
The ugly: recently had problems turning ignition lock so I'm leaving spare key in barrel at mo. been using it like that for last couple of months.
car will be taxed and in daily use till end of September. then I'll be taxing my new motor and will scrap this. the price will drop 20 after September
