Description
A selection of 78s plus a trio of old LPs. Inherited from my parents. The music includes classical music, brass bands and some ballet/theatre/film classics. Amongst the 10"s is The Harry Lime theme from The Third Man on Decca, A couple of swells by Judy Garland & Fred Astaire on MGM, The stately homes of England by Noel Coward on His Masters Voice, Ave Maria by Mario Lanza on HMV and Mary's Boy Child by Harry Belafonte on RCA. Amongst the 12"s is The South Pacific Selection including Some enchanted evening and I am going wash that man right out of my hair. An American in Paris by Leonard Bernstein. The Swan Lake ballet suite by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. 1812 Overture by the Boston Promenade Orchestra. A selection from Kiss Me Kate. Ride of The Valkeries by the NBC symphony Orchestra. 23 10"s 24 12"s. 1965 original release Sound of Music plus original booklet.
