In its first life this was a council-owned van and extremely well maintained. The second owner had it professionally converted to a Day Van/Campervan and continued to maintain it. I am the third owner and have continued to maintain the van.

Day Van/Campervan Conversion
x5 matching leather seats - drivers seat, double front passenger seat (also under-seat storage), double rear passenger seat.

The drivers seat has adjustable arm rests, height adjustment and lumbar control. The double front passenger seat also has under-seat storage. The rear double seat is a rock n roll ‘Smart Bed Evolution Rail’ system (£2k) which is motorway crash-tested. The seat/bed slides forwards and backwards on rails to allow different positions and settings within the vehicle. The seat/bed can also easily be completely removed from the van. All x5 seats have seatbelts and are professionally trimmed the same by Vision Leisure.

As well as seating in the rear of the van, there is a long side-storage pod that also has soft padding on top as internal seating, or a single bed, for stationary use. When the rock n roll smart bed is laid flat, this can double up to make a triple sleeping space.

Under the drivers seat is a 100 amp leisure battery, split charge system, battery charger and fuse box which powers the LED lights and USB charging points.

Behind the drivers seat and in front of the rear side storage is space for a small fridge or large cool box which can be plugged into a charging point off the leisure battery.

The rear of the van (side panels and roof) is fully double insulated with carpet on the panels and vinyl to the headlining. The rear floor is fully fitted with ply flooring and covered with heavy duty Altria vinyl for a comfortable, warm and wipe-clean surface. All windows in the rear are professionally black-out and include black-out curtains for day van/camping purposes.

Stereo system is a Pioneer Bluetooth smart system that connects to your mobile phone via an app, including phone holder. The original VW stereo system is available also.

The van drives great, has had lots of money spent on it and been maintained to a great extent. It is a fantastic daily drive, as well as a day van and campervan. Potential to convert further to a full campervan.
