2005 Volkswagen Caddy Van – SWB – 104bhp
For sale is my 2005 VW Caddy in silver, short wheelbase with the 104bhp C20 TDI engine.
This is a very presentable little van with an excellent interior – the seats are clean with no staining, it's tidy and cared for inside. It also benefits from an upgraded stereo with USB charging, the rear floor has been carpeted and sides ply-lined and there’s a tow bar fitted, making it a versatile and practical van for work or leisure.
It starts, runs, drives and stops just as it should, and overall it’s a solid and reliable workhorse.
A few honest points to note: it’s showing 229,000 miles on the clock, there’s no current MOT, and the sills will need repair. The passenger sill (just behind the sliding door) also has some damage. The battery isn’t holding charge, but that’s an easy and inexpensive fix. On the plus side, I’ll include a brand-new sliding door rail kit with the sale.
Overall, it’s a straight and genuine van with plenty of life left in it for the right buyer, whether you’re after a project, a cheap runabout, or a base for conversion.
