Background & History
Few vehicles are as instantly recognisable as the early Land Rovers. Built with utility and versatility at their core, the Series I set the template for generations of 4x4s to come. This particular 1957 Short Wheelbase 86" model carries that legacy proudly.
Our vendor has shared that the previous owner fitted a galvanised chassis that has been powder coated black, he also made improvements to the bodywork and interior.
Owned by our vendor for just over a year, in which time he has made mechanical improvements to the Landie. Now, sadly, due to health reasons, the vendor can no longer drive the Series I.
