About Us:
Silverlake Garage is a family business, established in 1946 and currently flourishing under the expert management of the managing director, Allen Prebble, son of the founder. We operate from a fully licensed 9 acre site in Botley, Southampton, and with a fleet of 12 multi-car transporters we deal with an average of 30,000 vehicles per year, for insurance companies, local authorities and private clients. We have an ever changing stock of around 800 repairable vehicles and 1700 vehicles which are dismantled for parts on site.

Salvage Vehicles sold from this establishment are sold as auto salvage. Mileage, mechanical condition, chassis number, registration number and registration dates are not warranted and must be checked by yourself prior to purchase. V5 registration documents can only be supplied if, or when, these are supplied to us. These terms are not intended to restrict or exclude any legal rights bestowed or implied by law.

For Salvage vehicles, the vehicles are not in a roadworthy condition and are sold with no warranty and without M.O.T and must not be used on any public highway until they are repaired to a standard which will enable them to be driven on a public road and comply with all legal requirements.

Images and descriptions are to be used as a guide only, please view the vehicles in person before entering into any purchase agreement to satisfy yourself as to the damage and condition. If a vehicle is purchased or an offer accepted on a vehicle, a £200 deposit must be paid over the phone by debit or credit card within 24 hours to secure the vehicle, otherwise it will be relisted. Full payment must received within 7 days of the deposit date, and the vehicle must be removed from our site within 3 days of full payment. Any payment by credit card will be subject to a 3% handling fee. All vehicle sales will require the buyer to provide 3 three forms of identification, including one form of photo identification (driving license or passport) and two proofs of address (recent utility bill, bank statement etc..) before the vehicle leaves the site. Failure to provide the required identification will result in the vehicle being relisted for sale and the loss of any deposit paid.
