Triumph Speed Twin 1200 For Sale

I have for sale my 2022 Triumph Speed Twin 1200, I am selling the bike as I have lost a bit of my enthusiasm for motorcycling, and, I think it's got to the stage in life,
( due to circumstances), where it may become difficult for me to manage it, that is the only reason, I do not need to sell the bike but I would like to so I am open to offers.

My bike is a 2022 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 registered on 14/06/2022 it is in the Red with Silver accents with 2607 miles on the clock, the bike is in excellent condition and has had an MOT in June at 2308 miles and was serviced on 06/09/2024 at 2267miles with only having done 347 miles since.

Prior to buying the bike I requested the dealer changed the tyres from the original Pirelli's to Michelin Road 5's the reason being the original tyres do not have a great tread pattern for the wet and as we are in the UK we get a fair bit of rain on occasion so I thought it's better to change to a more suited tyre, the tyres were fitted at 2,291 miles 316 miles ago so they are virtually new but run in.

If you are looking at the bike you will know a bit about them and what is standard, but in case you are not sure they are fitted as standard with ABS, Traction Control, 3 Riding Modes.

Those of you with a keen eye will notice a slight change to the rear end, on doing research of the model before buying it I noticed comments on a bit of water being thrown up from the back due to the Speed Twins 'Blade' type mudguard when riding in the rain, and as mentioned, we are in the UK and get wet weather occasionally and I didn't fancy getting wet, I looked for a solution on a few forums and found out that a Thruxton Rear mudguard would fit so I bought a new one complete with rear light assembly, got it painted to match the front stainless one and fitted it. The original Speed Twin one will, of course, come with the bike should you wish to change it back. As the electrical connections from the main harness to both mudguards are the same it takes about 5-10 mins to change over the guards, only 6 bolts and a disconnect/reconnect.

Apart from the mudguard change there are a few extras I fitted to the bike, they are;

Rear rack

Genuine Triumph Heated grips, originals will come with the bike.

Genuine Triumph Rear Tank Protector and Knee Grips.

Genuine Triumph Engine Protectors

Radiator Guard

The bike is also fitted with a Datatag System and a battery tender.



The bike comes with it's Triumph folder complete with Owner's Manual, Service Book, Datatag certificate and a number of receipts.

The V5 is in my name and there are 2 keys with the bike.


The bike is HPI clear, I paid in full from a dealer, however if you wish to do an HPI check I am more than happy too furnish you with the details to allow you to check engine and frame etc.


I am sure I have missed stuff out. I have attached pics of the bike but I have many more available should you be interested to see them.

In summary, it is a extremely nice bike, especially with the extras which has been well looked after by myself, I am quite happy to chat on any aspect regarding the bike should you be interested, I am not hard to talk to, so please feel free to call.

I looked at a number of Speed Twin 1200's before finding and deciding on this one, the bike is in really excellent condition, it took me a while, and a bit of travelling to find the right one, it is a great all rounder any prospective buyer would be happy with the bike.

So, if I like it that much and have spent a bit on it why am I selling it?

I could go on about needing cash for another bike or something similar but the truth is after 48 years of owning and riding motorcycles, I seem to have lost a wee bit of my enthusiasm; plain and simple, I have kind of fell out of love with motorcycling that, and struggling to manage the bikes, are the only reasons for selling.

I would like to ask £8475 which, on looking at the prices of some others of the same year and older, and some without the equipment on this one, I think it is a reasonable price, I will of course consider offers as although I don't have to sell I would like to.

Any test ride would be allowed provided I have a large cash deposit in exchange, proof of ID and insurance which allows you to ride another vehicle fully comp.
