It is made of Magnesium with Carbon components.
There are some marks on it but they are purely cosmetic. Tripod functions fully.
Very light.
Very tough, very stable.
I have attached some pictures which I have taken with this tripod.
This tripod will not let you down. You will be proud of your purchase.
