We hired Alfie and the team to clear our garden, including tree and ivy removal. We made part payments over the first few days, and on the last day, as we were both working, we paid the remaining balance to avoid delays—trusting that the job would be completed as promised. However, when we returned, we found that they had abandoned the job, leaving large tree branches in our neighbor’s car park and a huge mess in our garden. Despite multiple calls and messages, they have completely ignored us. This has caused us unnecessary stress, extra work, and additional costs. Although the team was hardworking, I strongly advise against hiring Alfie and the team—do not pay in full until the job is 100% complete!

We found Alfie very helpful and he and his his team very hard working. They cleared up immaculately although a bit of disruption in our steep woods where it was difficult to manage the debris.

He did the job in just over the hour. Did not tidy up v well and charged £150. I thought it was v expensive but he came quickly

The tree cutting itself was ok, but I had an issue with Alfie and his mate clearing up afterwards. I agree that our garden was in a right mess with building works ongoing, but Alfie had seen it before he quoted and accepted the job. At one point, he literally started shouting at me, saying that I was asking him to clear more stuff, but it was only branches that he had just cut down. At the end, after he got the payment, he drove off, despite me asking him to put the wheelbarrow and spade back into the garden, after they had used it. He also left behind a few branches on the middle of the road, which I was expecting he would tidy up! This company was the first one who came around to quote, and in retrospect, I should have waited for the others to come around before I offered the job.
