Key responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative include,

Receiving Goods, unloading deliveries, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notesStoring Stock, labelling items, moving goods to designated storage areas, and ensuring safe, organised storagePicking & Packing, accurately selecting items for orders, packing securely, and preparing goods for dispatch – this may involve heavy lifting and extended periods of standingDispatching Orders, loading goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secure and ready for timely deliveryStock Control, updating records, completing paperwork, and helping with regular stock checksMaintaining Cleanliness, keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all timesThe ideal Warehouse Operative will need the following,

Some previous warehouse experienceexcellent attention to detail along with a willingness to learn and take on new tasksStrong team player with a positive attitude and clear communication skillsFlexibility and ability to work under pressurePhysical capability to move goods safelyBasic IT skills for stock and record–keepingFull UK driving licence and own vehicle essential due to location – free on–site parking40 hour week.
