With over 100 depots with a combined fleet of over 3000 vehicles and 4 million sq ft of warehousing, C & D South West and Palletforce handles thousands of pallets every night.Due to an increase in work-load and a new warehousing opportunity, we are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our close-knit team.

About the role:

To be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of order picking while also having safe use of company forklift ensuring efficiency and safety within all aspects of the role.

This role involves the safe operation of forklift movement around the warehouse, storage spaces and other facilities, moving pallets and other material around our facilities. Picking orders correctly to match the order pick list. Locating objects on shelves, packing them, and transporting them to trucks or shipping containers.

An order picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and deft with an ability to pick up on small details. We also expect you to be picky when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders

About you:

Forklift licence Understanding warehousing procedures Knowledge of or experience in a pallet network or Palletforce (advantageous) Training, Eye Tests,Uniform and Bonus scheme all benefits of this position! As well as overtime opportunities. This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday afternoon shift pattern (13.30 - 18.30) 25 hours per week.
