Sheltered Housing Officer – West London

Rate: £28.21 per hour (umbrella)

Contract: 3 months initially, with potential for extension

Working Arrangement: Office-based

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sheltered Housing Officer to join our team in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to provide vital support and tenancy management services to residents living in sheltered accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day management of sheltered housing schemes.

Support and engage with residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.

Act as the main point of contact for residents, families, and external support agencies.

Carry out regular welfare checks and health & safety inspections.

Manage tenancy-related issues in line with housing policies and procedures.

Respond promptly to emergencies or safeguarding concerns.Requirements

Proven experience working with vulnerable adults, ideally within a sheltered or supported housing environment.

Strong understanding of housing management and safeguarding principles.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work proactively and manage a varied caseload.

Enhanced DBS desirable.Benefits
