Permanent 39 Hours per Week GBP22.85 per hour (GBP46,339 basic annual salary)

Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Plymouth.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full–time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward–thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.

Pay & Hours: Basic hourly rate: GBP22.85

Basic annual salary: GBP46,339 (based on 39 hours/week)

Overtime (after 39 hours/week):

Monday to Saturday: GBP28.56/hour

Sunday: GBP30.39/hour

Shift pattern: 5 over 7

Permanent contract

Shifts – 8 hours Key Responsibilities: Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles

Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs

Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition

Maintaining accurate service and repair records

Working in accordance with health and safety standards

Requirements: Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)

PSV licence (desirable)

Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
