Mounter and Print Support Operative
Location: Wigan, Lancashire, WN5 0LQ
Salary: GBP32,287.50 per annum + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, permanent. Shift patterns detailed below

We are now recruiting for a Mounter and Print Support Operative to assist in the mounting of print plates in preparation for print press operations.
You will assist with any plate / registration issues which may offer and work in alignment with our health and safety processes to ensure the production running time is running smoothly.
As our Mounter and Print Support Operative you will:
Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards including BRC, ISO & A2 environmental. Organise your workload in line with the daily print programme, ensuring work is delivered against targets and customer requirements. Locate and Inspect Plates Apply and Strip backing tape to sleeves using Applicator/Demounter Mount printing plates onto the appropriate sleeves, ensuring compliance with the dimensions agreed with the customer, as required Demount Plates Operate Plate Cleaner and ensure plates are cleaned prior to filing, completing and signing the relevant control Operate Parts washer Assist with production operations as and when required including the maintenance and upkeep of relevant equipment. Ensure that mounting is organised in line with the production schedule. Review stock of Tape, Plate Wash & Anilox cleaner and order as required. Check Orders, plates, process control, paperwork and any required GMG in advance of the plan. In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
Previous experience in a print manufacturing environment beneficial Previous experience in production environment essential Exposure to quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a production setting Fluent English ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and understand both written and verbal work instructions Our Mounter and Print Support Operative team operate the F&K and W&H machines, you will work a 12 hour shift patter, spread over a 4 week cycle. This will typically be:
