Job description:
Trinity Business Support are currently looking for a HGV 1 shunter driver for our Washington based client.
Due to a new automotive contract win, our client now requires an additional member of staff to join their ever–growing team.
Our client is a worldwide leader in the parts industry who supply various automotive manufacturers.
Duties will include:
Shunting trailers between two sites Using tug and tractor units to place trailers on docks and within warehouse locations Following site guidelines and policies Securing loads for transit Completing company paperwork You will undertake a two–week training, working with the driver trainer to learn all the fundamentals of the role Hours of Work:
Rotating days and backshift Days 06.15–15.15 / Backs 16.00 – 01.00 The first two weeks whilst training will be on dayshift Pay:
16.00ph Monday to Friday 45hrs paid per week Odd Saturdays (only on dayshift) may be required – overtime paid at 24ph Additional Information:
Start date is Monday 18th September New passes accepted – pending a driver assessment being passed All applicants will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test Job Type: Full–time
