Description
Our client is a well–known and reputable HGV dealership with several depots across Southeast England. Currently they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join their busy depot.
Their Oxford depot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work alternating early/late shifts.
Duties:
You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques. You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.). You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians. You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed. Requirements:
A completed secondary vocational education. An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles. Familiarisation with developments in the automotive industry. You will be required to provide your own tool–kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
