Description

Job Title: HGV driver required – Class 1 /Category CE, but will consider Class 2 /category C licence holders; 41,204 per annum, 48 hours per week; 5 shifts per week, night shifts Sunday to Saturday 20.00 – 03.00

The Role

As a HGV driver, you will play a vital role in the distribution chain, delivering products to customers, wholesale buyers and depots across the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and safe deliveries while representing the company in a professional and customer–focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulationsComplete daily vehicle checks and reports any defects promptlyFollow health & safety, food hygiene and security procedures alwaysUse hand–held units or manual systems to record deliveries, returns and payments where applicableMaintain a clean vehicle, both inside and outProvide excellent customer serviceLoad and unload products safely, including manual handling and use of handling equipmentSkills

Full UK driving licence – Category CE preferred, Category C consideredDriver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardPhysically fit to undertake manual handling tasksStrong communication and customer service skillsFlexible and reliable, with the ability to work night shifts and weekends as requiredNew pass and Class 2 drivers welcome – full training and career development providedBenefits
